DJ Performance Application
Club Kaiju is an anime/otaku nightlife brand. Our home base is Dallas, TX, but we have expanded not just statewide and nationwide, but have also hosted events in Japan, Australia, and Canada. Our main goal is to spread our love for Japanese EDM and Japanese club music. Artists such as TeddyLoid, Kotonohouse, YUC’e, Moe Shop, Banvox, Toriena, etc. You can check out the Club Kaiju Spotify Playlist for further examples of the types of music we showcase.
We are searching for more Local DJs in the cities we frequent to join our DJ crew and share the stage and our love for Japanese dance music. We prefer DJs who can perform on industry standard gear with no laptops, gear may include Pioineer CDJ-3000, Pioneer CDJ-2000NXS2, or AlphaTheta XDJ-AZ. We are open to all EDM genres as long as you share our interests in anime/otaku culture, however certain genres may get booked more often than others. Our inspiration is to become the Mogra of the USA.
Cities we are looking for include: Denver, Los Angeles, Portland, Austin, San Antonio, Chicago, New Orleans, Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa, Mesa AZ, or surrounding cities if you are willing to drive to the performance. If you are in another city, you can still apply and maybe we will expand to further cities when enough interest is reached!
